LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chairman of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Najam Sethi has said on Sunday that tour of West Indies for a Twenty-20 series against Pakistan is conditional upon final of PSL 2017 to be held in capital of Punjab.
Sethi talked to the media in a book-launch ceremony of Islamabad United that was organised today.
He said that PSL brought the national cricket closer to the modern day sport. He said that WI would tour Pakistan this year for a series of four T20s. Sethi said that all outstanding matter could be resolved over a cup of tea with former skipper Shahid Afridi.
The PSL chairman also said that Misbahul Haq would have to decide over his Test captaincy and it was not the decision of the board.
While talking about issue over series with India, Sethi reiterated that Pakistan was ready for a tri-country fixture involving India on a neutral venue however, whether Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would approach an international mediator or International Cricket Council (ICC) in case of rejection is to be decided after deliberation with legal team.
Pakistan Super League is to kick off on February 9. Besides Najam Sethi, the ceremony today was attended by owner of Islamabad United, Ali Naqvi and once of the brand ambassadors, Fawad Khan.
