Pak Security Person Martyred in clash with Afghan militants

Islamabad Politics Report: A security official was martyred in a clash with militants near the Afghan border in Mohmand Agency tribal area.

Army media wing reported Thursday that hidden militants in Afghanistan attacked the Pakistani check post near the border, which was answered completely.

Inter Services Public Relations has claimed that three terrorists were killed in effective response.

In the beginning of this month, five Pakistani security personnel were killed and five injured in an attack from the other side of the border. This attack was carried out on a border checkpoint in Kurram Agency, from the border of Afghan province Khost.

Pakistan has begun instaling fence on the border to prevent militant movement from Afghanistan by Afghanistan and the installation of the fence has been completed in the Turkhim area, while on the Chaman border continues.

A report released in December last year was told that the Pakistani army wants to fence a 1500-km its border with Afghanistan.

It is not easy to monitor the boundary  of the mountainous slides and it is considered a border which is the most capable of interrupting the block.

Due to limited monitoring, this border is also a major source of drug and human trafficking.

Thousands of soldiers and hundreds of vehicles are working on a daily basis in 14 different places to set up fence on the border from Chitral to South Waziristan.

The first part 432 km of this project will be completed by this year’s end.

Afghanistan has objections on the establishment of the fence. It says it is being set up in an area that does not have an international border and it is still going to be determined.
