While PML-N new chief has to be set a stratigy for election 2018, Shehbaz is facing the challenges to control over the party affairs and also to assert him in the national politics.

Shehbaz assumed the office of PML-N president in March 2018 after Nawaz was ousted by the Supreme Court.

The PML-N Central Working Committee (CWC) had elected Nawaz Sharif as the party “Quaid for Life” and Shahbaz Sharif as president in Feb, early this year.

After assuming PML-N’s new chief stature, Shahbaz Sharif has started the a operation reorganization Party to strengthening his grip on the party. Shahbaz Sharif is speedily changing the party officials who are considered loyal to Nawaz Sharif.

Shehbaz Sharif in this regard is trying to convince the party leadership for changing their policy statement with regards to the establishment and to adopt cold-political strategy.

Party officials who are angry with Nawaz Sharif, are also showing part of Shahbaz Sharif’s mission to re-activate them in the party. Shahbaz Sharif has also called on Chaudhry Nisar to end the differences.

President Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif has started the his “compagine party reorganization” from Sindh, appointed Shah Muhammad Shah as Acting President, Aslam Abru as Senior Vice President and Saleem Zia as General Secretary.
Shehbaz sets his mind to make a MQM, ANP and other like-minded parties to form an anti-PPP political and electoral alliance in Sindh.

After the change of government, PML-N broke down in Balochistan.  So Shahbaz Sharif got a great deal of strengthening his grip on the party in balochistan too.

Adul Qadir Baloch, who is the federal minister of States and Frontier Regions, will be replacing former Balochistan chief minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri as party provincial head in Balochistan.

Earlier in January this year, Zenri resigned as chief minister Balochistan after a no-confidence vote was initiated against him in the provincial assembly.

Winning over disgruntled leaders, seat adjustments and anti-PPP electoral alliances and organisational work along with public contact campaign were among strategies being considered by the PML-N head.

The PMLN has also decided to form coalition with MMA for the general elections 2018. Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif will soon meet the MMA leadership regarding this matter.
